This set consists of a powerful UV flashlight with protective glasses. The required 18650 battery is included and is rechargeable via USB-C.
This UV flashlight is made of anodized aluminum, making it very sturdy yet light. The lanyard makes it easy to take the flashlight with you.
The UV light makes fluorescent substances visible. This allows you to visualize blood, urine and saliva, for example. With 365nm, this flashlight also falls under the UVA category.
The wavelength of 365 nm falls under the UV-A category. The lamp has an illuminance of more than 30,000 μW/cm² in the UV spectrum. This lamp is equipped with a residual light blocking filter, which means that this lamp produces almost no visible light. This greatly simplifies the recognition of traces.
Note: Never shine the UV light into someone's eyes. If you do this, there is a risk that the eyes will be permanently damaged because no pupillary reflex occurs in non-visible light. Therefore, always use the supplied protective glasses when using this UV flashlight. Long-term use requires the use of UV-suitable gloves and other safety equipment. Not suitable for children.
