Apodemus field equipment (hereinafter: Apodemus, we, us), having its registered office at Dorpstraat 38 A, 5563 BD Westerhoven, the Netherlands, is the controller for the processing of data as described in this privacy statement. Processing purposes and lawful bases

Apodemus cares a great deal about your privacy, which is why we only process data that we need for (or to improve) our services and handle carefully the information we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy statement applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Apodemus to which access is provided on this website. This privacy statement describes what data we collect about you, what this data is used for and with whom and under what conditions this data might be shared with third parties.

Online sales
When you place an order in our webshop, we require certain data about you to supply your order and to keep you posted about your order. This data is also necessary for any returns or repairs.
We will ask you for personal data such as your name, address details, e-mail address and telephone number. We also ask business customers for a registration with the Chamber of Commerce and a VAT identification number. We use this personal data to perform the services on your behalf. This personal data shall not be provided to third parties and/or used for purposes other than the performance of our services, unless you have personally instructed this. As in the case that we obtain data from other parties and you have given those parties consent to provide certain data to us.

E-mail
When you send e-mail or other messages to us, we may save those messages. This personal data is stored on our secure server. We use this personal data to perform services on your behalf. This personal data shall not be provided to third parties and/or used for purposes other than the performance of our services.

Your account
In your personal account, we retain the following data: names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and any Chamber of Commerce and VAT identification numbers.
In your account, we also retain your order history including the chosen delivery options and payment details, so that this data remains available to you.

Processing of data on behalf of third parties

Shipping agents
If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We make use of the services of various shipping agents to make the deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name and address, and any other order details with them.

Invoicing and accounting
We use accounting software to keep our records and for our accounting. In this software, we record your name and address details, as well as details relating to your order. This data is used to administer sales. Your personal data shall be sent and stored securely. Your personal data shall not be used for purposes other than those described above.

Webshop software
Personal data that you make available to us to enable us to provide our services shall be shared with the developers of our webshop. They have access to your data to provide us with technical and other forms of support; they will never use your data for other purposes. Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, they are also required to take appropriate security measures.

Payment processors
We use a payment platform to handle some or all of the payments in our webshop. They process your name and address details, and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. They have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data.

Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as you are a customer of ours. In other words, we retain your customer profile until you say that you no longer wish to make use of our services. On the basis of applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your data or personal data; therefore, we shall retain this data for the total duration of the applicable period.

Rights

You have the right to view at any time the personal data we collect and process about you, and to rectify or delete this data if it is incorrect, incomplete or not relevant. You also have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data and the right to receive the data you provided in an acceptable and machine-readable format (data portability). You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. If you wish to object, please clearly report this to us at info@apodemus.eu. We will then assess our processing of your personal data and, if necessary, adjust it.

Available objection procedures and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If you believe that we are not handling your personal data properly or if you have a complaint about our privacy statement, please contact us first at info@apodemus.eu. We will then assess your complaint as soon as possible and attempt to reach a mutual solution with you.

If you do not agree with our response or if you believe that we are not handling your personal data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for privacy protection. In the Netherlands, this is the Dutch DPA. You can contact the Dutch DPA via their website
