The Tascam DR-05XP is the successor to the DR-05X. With this portable handheld recorder, you can easily make professional-quality recordings. Thanks to the 32-bit float recording mode, you never have to worry about setting audio levels, and your audio recordings are always clear, crisp and free of distortion.
With simple one-handed operation, the DR-05XP lets you start recording with minimal setup time.
The DR-05XP is not only a powerful portable recorder, but also a 2-in/2-out USB-C audio interface that lets you record directly into audio recording software on your Mac or PC anywhere.
Recordings are stored on a microSD card with a maximum capacity of 512 GB (not included).
Recording formats include 32-bit float, 24-bit and 16-bit at 96 kHz, 48 kHz, 44.1 kHz and MP3.
The Tascam DR-05XP was not originally designed for bat research, but it is ideal for this purpose.
