Apodemus Pippyg– Advanced, Affordable Static Bat Detection in the Pipistrelle family.
The Apodemus Pippyg is a compact, cost-effective static bat and bird recorder designed for seamless deployment via a mobile app.
With a 384 kHz sample rate, it is optimized for use with automated identification systems, such as the BTO Acoustic Pipeline.
Delivered fully assembled, programmed, and tested, the Pippyg features a bare PCB design, requiring a waterproof enclosure for operation in damp or wet environments.

Apodemus Pyppig
Ik heb al een aantal jaren ervaring met de Audiomoth. Heb met belangstelling de ontwikkeling van pippistrelle en pippyg gevolgd via "Bat call sound analysis workshop" en ontdekte nu tot mijn vreugde dat de apparaatjes kant en klaar verkrijgbaar zijn in Nedeland via Apodemus! De bediening is super eenvoudig en alle gewenste extra info staat in de heldere handleiding. Kortom: ideaal zeker voor een liefhebber als ik want ze zijn werkelijk zeer gunstig geprijsd en doen qua prestaties zeker niet onder voor de Audiomoth! De bediening is al heel wat vriendelijker. Ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam zijn de mensen van Apodemus: Elmar en Wendi! Een mooie ontdekking!

A clear recommendation to buy!
Hello, I received the Piggyg today and immediately set it up at my favorite observation spot. After two hours, I did my first evaluation. It really is a fascinating little device. The recording quality is amazing and the sensitivity is also really impressive. It can definitely compete with much more expensive devices. It's not made for bad weather, but something can be built for that. For the price, it's a real recommendation. Thank you very much!

Zeer ingenieus toestel

A great little tool!
Very easy to program, produces sonograms at the level of the best publications. If interested, I can send my comparison PippyG Vs. Audiomoth. Great value for the money.
