The Batlogger M is a further developed version of the first Elekon Batlogger. Next to the recording of bat calls themselves and the time and date of the recording, the Batlogger M also registers the GPS coordinates of the sighting through the built in GPS receiver, as well as the ambient temperature. The Batlogger M is equipped with an internal battery that can make recordings during several sequential nights without recharging it. Data is stored on an SD card. The free ‘BatExplorer software’ makes it easy for you to manage and further analyze the collected data. The software is available for Windows as well as Mac-OS users and contains basic identification software that makes suggestions that have to be validated by the user.
